SnapsCleaner

SnapsCleaner is an application to verify and remove metadata in JPEG files. It can also verify the JPEG datastream itself. The verification is normally required because many tools that insert metadata, like IPTC, into a JPEG file do not insert them according to the standards. Also, some tools add additional information about your system (like paths) that you do not want to share. Such non-standard metadata may cause crashes in your customers' picture databases, potentially leading to lost customers or extra expenses to fix the problems.  SnapsCleaner helps you to avoid all these problems.
